Using a fork mix together the egg and milk in a bowl
Flatten the slices of bread using a rolling pin or a glass
Lay the bananas on one side of the bread, then roll the bread over (give it a little push down to keep it together) then dip in the milk and egg mixture
Heat some butter in fry pan, Cook each roll up for 2 minutes a side until golden
Inspired by quite a number of mums on instagram sharing different variations of this recipe, I thought I would make the easiest possible version of this. I actually prefer this over regular french toast (flat toast) because it is so much easier to hold for my little one.
Fill it with any other fruit or vegetable for a savoury dish and enjoy!
